We maintain and administer the Community Vulnerable Register. It is kept securely, password-protected, and only a small select group of volunteers, each holding an Enhanced DBS, is allowed to access it. We stay in touch with everyone on the register regularly, providing help and support where needed, and also inform them of any issues that we believe may pose a risk.

There are no specific qualifications to be on the Vulnerable Register. Anyone who feels they may need additional support can ask to be added, either for themselves or their next of kin.

There is no charge to be included on the register.

In the event of community emergencies, e.g. during floods or extreme weather events, the details of any vulnerable residents may be shared with the statutory authorities. This is only done where we feel there is a substantial risk to those individuals.
